The New Washington State Bank is looking for a talented, detail oriented and organized Deposit Operations Representative to add to our team!  This position will be responsible for the various day-to-day internal back-end processes performed by our Deposit Operations Department.  In addition, this position will also provide both internal and external support by assisting bank customers and staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Accepts and processes a variety of financial transactions such as: stop payments, wires, sweeps, transfers, alerts, ACH, etc. 
  • Balances and reviews numerous bank accounts/reports including but not limited to: Deposit, Savings, General Ledger, IRA, CD, Safe Deposit Box, and Dormant Accounts.
  • Answers telephone calls from customers and branch personnel and assists them in a timely accurate manner. 
  • Performs maintenance to update customer and account information.
  • Processes and researches ATM and Debit Card Disputes.
  • Reviews Non-Sufficient Fund accounts. 
  • Files and Scans Deposit Operations documentation. 
  • Performs daily responsibilities to maintain the efficient operations of the department.
  • Follows all company policies and practices.

  • Ability to work in a team environment, interacting well, and in a positive manner, with coworkers and management.
  • Understand and maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding all aspects of The New Washington State Bank.
  • Ability to take initiative and utilize sound judgment in decision-making and diplomacy and tact in problem resolution weighing customer satisfaction issues with Bank exposure to loss or fraud.
Education and Experience
